Headstands!!!

About 1 month ago Jared was trying to learn how to do handstands. He was watching a few youtube videos on how to do it. Stephenie immediately showed me up by doing a perfect headstand on her first try. The kids decided that they wanted to learn too. We watched a couple how-to videos and they figured it out pretty quickly. Now it feels like Devon is upside down more than he is right-side-up.

Ky

Kylie is 11 months old now. She has started army crawling around, allowing for a little more exploration which she loves. She is really happy and loves her brothers.

Soccer Season 2-Grrrrr

Devon is back at it again this year. His team name is the bears and he let his first opponents (The Comets) know it multiple times by growling at them on the field and explaining that a bear could maul a comet. He is doing great this year and a good friend from the ward is on the team. Go Devon!

First Day of School!

Devon started Kindergarten today! He goes to school from 7:45am-2:45pm. It seems like such a long day for a 5-year-old but he seemed to have a great day. We met his teacher last week and were very impressed. Tyson is going to be getting some one-on-one training from Stephenie this year instead of going to preschool. They started today as well and Tyson learned alot and worked on some fun projects. Jared starts early morning seminary again tomorrow morning and is looking forward to teaching the New Testament this year. He teaches a Sophmore/Junior class of about 25 students. Life is good and we are happy and grateful for all our blessings.

We Have Our 1st Swimmer!

Devon & Tyson have been taking personal swimming lessons the last two weeks and we are ecstatic with the results-last year Devon had group lessons and we didn't see any progress. Now, Tyson is fearless and swimming very well and Devon is officially swimming by himself! He can jump in the pool, go wherever he wants, float when he needs a rest, etc (I guess you know what it means to be a swimmer but it is so fun as a parent to see our child get to this stage:) Way to go boys!

Ty & Jonas playing cars in the dirt

The boys were caked in dirt most of our camping trip :)

Our cousin Brooke was so sweet to play with the boys so much at our reunion. Here she was building a stick fort with the boys.

Aunt Janelle with Kylie - several people have said that Kylie looks like her Aunt Janelle.

Uncle Darin playing and singing for Tyson. The boys love their uncle Darin!
A special THANKS to our sister-in-law Alicia who took a lot of the pictures during our vacation and family reunions and to Stef Bellows who took our new family pictures in the right column! You guys are AWESOME! We sure had fun visiting our families this summer! We love and miss you all! I am hoping to get pictures from my sisters from the week that we spent in California with my family - Jared had to get back to school and had to take the camera with him, but hopefully I can post some of my sisters pics soon.
