Family Reunion

When I was 16 years old Jared invited me to come with his family to their annual Labor Day family reunion... and finally after 13 years I made it! :) We had a great time camping, hanging out and playing with the family. Since we live close again, this will definitely be one of our annual trips too!

Devon Soccer Season 3

Devon had another great year of soccer. This year he played with the "Sonic Heroes". Devon had an awesome coach and a great team!

Ty's 1st Soccer Season

This is Tyson's first year of soccer and he is loving it! He's doing really well and has scored a goal at the past two games!

Our New Home

After many hours, days and months trying to figure out where we want to live and where we can find a job, we are now located in Folsom, CA. We moved here in August, but since things have been so busy we are just now updating the blog. Here are some pictures of our new rental home.Our new home has a pool that we love! We went swimming everyday (except Sundays) for the first 4-6 weeks we lived here until it got too cold. It's been a lot of fun!

Cousins

It's been so fun living near Eric, Sierra and their family! I'm so glad that all of the boys get a long so well... they are always keeping themselves entertained with exciting things! :)

Tyson's 1st day of Pre-School

Tyson was really excited for his first day at Poppin's Preschool. Miss Shelby is wonderful and Ty can't wait to meet all of the new kids there.

Devon's 1st day of 1st Grade

Devon had his first day of school here in Folsom. He's excited to meet new friends to play with. :)

Jared & Kylie

Aren't these two so cute! I love to see how excited Kylie gets when Jared walks in the door. She loves her daddy so much and has such cute little things she always does with him- for example, whenever Jared is eating she climbs up on his lap and has to steal a few bites (even if she just ate), or whenever Jared is sitting on the ground Kylie will go behind him and put her arms around his neck, begging for a piggy back ride. So adorable!! :)

Dollar Day at the Dallas Zoo

We had a fun trip to the zoo with the Hess'! We'll sure miss them when we move.

Dallas Discovery Gardens

Not much to discover at these gardens but luckily it was still a fun trip since we had lots of friends with us!

Girls are so much fun!

I caught Kylie trying to put a diaper on her teddy- it was the cutest thing! :)


Then the next day I caught Kylie putting her teddy and bunny in her chair at the table. She put her bib on them and put her princess spoon on the table to feed them. Girls are definitely born with these motherly instints.. my boys never did anything like this! :)


I keep reminding the boys that they need to empty the pool after they are done swimming or this is what will happen.. every time!
