Tyson loves dressing up

One of Tyson's favorite things to do is fight with his sword or lightsaber. He is the toughest fighter in our house and has hurt all of us multiple times.

Tyson will often bring us sun glasses and a hat to put on him.

Tyson also likes walking around in daddy's shoes.

Do you recognize this Santa?

We dug up some old Christmas pics from the Ward Party we planned in 2003. Here is what we found. We are sure some of you will recognize a few familiar faces-including Santa.

Classic first timer (Devon) on Santa's lap.

Do you know who he is now? :)

Look who came to town!

About 1 week ago Devon made his lists (he made 3) for Santa. When we told him Santa was coming to the ward Christmas party he was excited but a little skeptical; "Santa only comes when you are sleeping!", he told me. When Santa arrived we spared Tyson the inevitable tears that come to kids under 2 who are forced to sit on Santa's lap, but Devon had a great time visiting with him. Here are a few of the things on Devon's list: red football, 3 new books, 2 buckets of toys, and 1 new pacifier for Tyson.

Hey y'all, we're goin to Texas!

This last Wednesday was Ortho Match day! At 6:45am in the morning we got the e-mail that would decide our fate for the next 2-3 years and we were ecstatic to find out that we matched at our #1 choice-Baylor Orthodontics in Dallas, Texas! We feel so excited and blessed that Jared was accepted to an Orthodontic program. We will be moving there after graduation in June. We've been busy checking everything out online and are hoping to get into a house finally.

Getting ready for Christmas

Devon, Tyson, Ava and Bailey helped decorate our very first Christmas tree. It took awhile for Tyson to learn that the ornaments aren't balls, but he has finally got the idea and the boys love to have the tree lit all day long.

One last trip to Disneyland

We are so sad that our season passes expired this last Wednesday. However, we did manage to work in three trips in our last week, one of which was a date night for Jared and I. If you've ever been to Disneyland during the Holidays, you know how well they bring the Christmas spirit with all the decorations, fireworks show, and the life-like snow storm each night after the fireworks. Our camera died right before the snow started but we did capture some great shots of the kids. Also, Jared set his all time high score on the Buzz Lightyear ride (he made me include this). His score was 587,700, and here's the picture to prove it :)

Trip to the beach

We are enjoying our time with Jared now that he is back from his tour of the country (ortho school interviews). It seemed like he was gone for two months straight. It's finally hitting us that we won't have sunny so-cal beaches for too much longer. We sure will miss it!

Looks like they've got daddy's rhythm. :)

Happy Halloween!

Here is Devon and some of his friends at a Halloween party that his friend Tanner threw. They made halloween treats and played at the playground.

The boys helped clean out and carve the pumpkin. Jared carved a ghost on one side and the Incredibles symbol on the other side. He did an awesome job!

Here is a picture of the kids at our ward Trunk or Treat with their friends Logan and Tanner. They were all so cute!

The whole family at the ward Trunk or Treat. Jared really got in the spirit this year when he decided to be Mr. Incredible so he could match Devon's Dash costume.

Since Jared was in San Francisco for interviews on Halloween, the kids and I decided to drive with him and stay at my mom's. We had a lot of fun trick or treating around the block with Lynette, Kelly and Dylan. Devon just ran from house to house he was so excited. Tyson was too shy to say trick or treat, but he would take a candy and say thank you. It was really cute.Tyson was a Dinosaur and Devon was Dash from the Incredibles. Devon's favorite thing to do is run fast just like Dash.

Jared had a three week break from school this past month so we decided to make a road trip to visit lots of family. We of course had to start off our trip by visiting the happiest place on earth, Disneyland.

The family just outside of California Adventure.

Jared and Tyson on the Buzz Lightyear ride. This is the boys favorite ride!

Devon wanted us to take a picture of him right here in front of the water. This is just outside the castle.

Next stop - San Diego, California to visit with Jared's parents. They were at a conference and staying on Coronado Island for the week. They were so nice to invite us to come visit with them for a few days. Here is a picture of Devon, Tyson and Grandma Corbridge. We just got done swimming in the huge, nice pool. Everywhere you looked was so beautiful. It was so cool!

Here's Grandpa spending some quality time with Devon exploring the beach.

Grandma and Grandpa took us on a ferry boat from Coronado
Island to San Diego.

To break up our trip from San Diego to Highland, we stopped at the St. George temple to stretch our legs. It was such a nice day and the temple was so beautiful!
