Jared had a three week break from school this past month so we decided to make a road trip to visit lots of family. We of course had to start off our trip by visiting the happiest place on earth, Disneyland.

The family just outside of California Adventure.

Jared and Tyson on the Buzz Lightyear ride. This is the boys favorite ride!

Devon wanted us to take a picture of him right here in front of the water. This is just outside the castle.

Devon, Tyson and Jared on the merry-go-round.
Next stop - San Diego, California to visit with Jared's parents. They were at a conference and staying on Coronado Island for the week. They were so nice to invite us to come visit with them for a few days. Here is a picture of Devon, Tyson and Grandma Corbridge. We just got done swimming in the huge, nice pool. Everywhere you looked was so beautiful. It was so cool!

Grandpa and Devon looking at the city from Coronado Island.

Here's Grandpa spending some quality time with Devon exploring the beach.

Grandma and Grandpa took us on a ferry boat from Coronado
Island to San Diego.

To break up our trip from San Diego to Highland, we stopped at the St. George temple to stretch our legs. It was such a nice day and the temple was so beautiful!
Next stop - Highland, Utah to visit my sister Allison and her family. Here is a picture of Carter and Devon in the backyard.

We got to go to Carter and Tyler's soccer games and it was so cool. We now practice soccer with Devon and tell him that he can be on a team next summer when he is 4. Carter was such a stud on the field. He was WAY better than any of the other kids out there! Don't tell them that, but he was! :) I didn't know a 4 year old could be so good at something like that. He is the one kicking the ball. Notice that his teammate right next to him is trying to steal the ball from him. It's hilarious watching these little kids play.

Here's Tyler at her soccer game. She was awesome. She made more goals than anyone else in the game that day.

We had a tough time trying to get all of the kids together for a picture. This was the best we could do. Our camera was also running out of batteries at the time, so that made it even worse. Here is Devon, Carter, Tyson, Tyler and Sydney. It's amazing how all of these kids get along so well. It really is a break for me when we get together because they will all run off and play together so well.

I don't know what this look means, but I think it so cute!

Tyson and Sydney on the tire swing. They are just two days apart and it has been so neat watching them grow together. Dani came from BYU to visit us for the day. It was lots of fun having her around, she is so great with the kids!

Carter and Devon on the swings. They both are wearing the t-shirt that their sweet cousin Dani got them. Thanks Dani!

Next stop - Nampa, Idaho to visit Jared's brother Eric and his family.

We all went to the Discovery Center in Boise and had a blast. Here is Malakai playing with a tube that blows air. You could hold a ball just above the tube in the air and it would float, the pressure was so strong. I am surprised he could get that tube so close to his face.

Here is Eric doing the same thing. They were cracking us up! Is this one of those things that if you do it too much, your face will stay this way forever?

At the Discovery Center there was a tiny grocery store for the kids where they could have their own carts and pick out their own plastic food. The kids had a ton of fun with this. We had to drag them out when we were ready to go.

Next stop - Ontario, Oregon to see my Grandma Brown. We had a great time visiting with great-Grandma for the day. This is actually the first time she had seen Devon and Tyson in person. We wish we could visit with her more often!
Next stop - Sparks, Nevada to visit Jared's parents, brother, sister, their spouses, our other extended family there, and our friends the Bellows. We got to celebrate Curtis' 24th birthday while in Sparks.
The boys love to take a bath in Grandpa and Grandma's big tub with the cool jets.
Next stop - Modesto, California to visit my parents and my sister Lynette and her family. Devon loves swimming in Grandpa and Grandma's pool.

Devon, Tyson and Dylan had so much fun playing together at Grandma Lewis' house.

On the road again... Tyson looks so funny when he tries mommy's sun glasses on.

The boys were happy to be back at home in their own bed.. Tyson still sleeps in the crib, but lately he has been climbing into Devon's bed just before we are ready to put him into the crib. He wants to do everything just like his big brother!

Here's a good close-up of Tyson. You may notice a few bruises on his forehead. I don't know what it is lately, but the boys keep hitting their heads real bad. Last week Devon was jumping on his bed and hit his head on the corner of the dresser. It was a pretty big gash with lots of blood. Luckily it wasn't big enough to rush him to the e.r. We were told by Devon's Dr. that we could stich it up or that it would heal just fine on it's own, it would just leave a scar. It's nice that for now the cut is underneath his blonde hair, but if he get's those lucky Corbridge baldy genes, he just might be upset with us later on in life.
Devon and Tyson love to pull all of the pillows off the couches and off the beds to make what Devon calls a "dog house". They will make a tight, long tunnel with the pillows and crawl through it about a hundred times and then jump all over them. Here is a picture of the boys during their most recent adventure in the "dog house".

Tyson looking cute while playing with his playdough.
Devon looking cute in his baseball hat.
Devon and his friends Ava and Bailey. They are 4-year old twins that we now watch each weekend. We have a babysitting swap that we do each weekend with their parents so we can have a date night. These girls have lots of energy and are so much fun! It is nice for me to have a few girls around with all of the boys that I am use to being around.

Cragun's - we didn't ditch you. When you get back into town and are ready to go out again, we will swap with you! :)

This is a picture of the beautiful beach in Newport. It has been one of our favorite places to visit while living in southern California.

Jared, Devon and Tyson at Newport Beach.
Tyson loves to play his recorder. Every time we go to take a picture of Tyson, he has to come right up to the camera and try to grab it. That's why he is super close in most of his pictures.
Devon and his friend Kimball. Kimball just moved to South Carolina and Devon misses him lots! Devon prays that he can go see Kimball, but not his pet crocodile that lives in the lake behind his house. That always makes us laugh.

Devon borrowed this Batman mask and cape from his friend Kimball. The boys loved being Batman and fighting dad.

Devon and Tyson love going to the beach. This is from our recent trip to Santa Barbara.
Devon loves getting water in his bucket and making things with the wet sand.
Devon and Tyson playing with the sand.

Hello family and friends! We have enjoyed our friend's blogs/websites so much we decided to join in on all the fun. We love staying connected to all of you near and far.

We are still in Los Angeles and loving it. Jared is starting his 4th, and hopefully last, year of dental school at UCLA. That means we are coming to another exciting crossroads and we are eagerly anticipating where the next move will take us. We are in the process of applying to 27 orthodontic programs across the country. Interviews will be in October and November and if any land us near you, we will be sure to say hi.

Devon is enjoying one-on-one swim lessons this summer at the pool in our apartment complex. He loves jumping in the big pool and swimming to the side. He is very brave and persistent as he works hard to get better each time. Devon also has been enjoying the computer. This last week he has been waking up early (one day at 4am!) to get online and play his favorite games. He maneuvers through the internet (Playhouse Disney, NickJr, and PBS kids) like a pro and seems to be learning a lot in addition to having fun.

Tyson is also fearless when it comes to the water. He keeps trying to jump in the big pool too. Devon's teacher even suggested we let him do it just to give him a little scare so he won't do it when we are not looking. Tyson still only has two teeth, (Dr. Dad says he should have 12-16 teeth), but we are not too worried because Jared still needs some partial dentures to graduate. Toothless or not, Tyson still is a great eater. Devon and Tyson are great friends and play very well together. We will try to keep this site updated so check back when you get a minute and drop us a line if you have two. We love you!
