Here's a picture of the graduates that were at the party.
Devon and Mila in the pool. I think they were in the pool for at least 2 hours straight.
We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our third and we just found out this past week that it's a girl! We are all thrilled. Ever since we told Devon that mommy was pregnant he kept telling us that it was a girl. We would tell him that we weren't sure yet, that it could be a boy, but he would say so confidently, "I know it's a girl, it's not a boy". When I told the boys that we found out it was a girl Devon said, "I told you". This is actually an ultrasound photo from earlier on in the pregnancy, I just couldn't figure out how to scan a more recent photo. My due date is Oct. 23rd.
We made our first trip to Dallas as a family at the end of April. It was Tyson's first plane ride (if you don't count the plane ride we took when he was a few months old). Tyson and Devon did great! They especially loved the music they could listen to with the headsets we bought on the plane. We met Jared's parents in Texas and with the help of Stephenie's cousin that's a realtor, we found a beautiful home to rent while Jared is attending ortho school. We are so excited to finally get into a home! We were also able to spend lots of time with Stephenie's aunt, cousins and their families that live just a few miles away from where we will be moving. They are all so nice and Devon keeps asking me when he can see his new friends in Texas again.
The boys were so cute sleeping next to one another on the sofa bed at the hotel.
Here is Tyson playing baseball in the hotel room with the ball and bat that Grandma and Grandpa got for the boys. Tyson is really good at hitting the ball. As you can see in the picture, he always keeps his eye on the ball. :)
We got tickets to the Long Beach Grand Prix and it was a blast. There were several different races throughout the day. Tyson loved the "fast cars" and that is his favorite thing to talk about ever since. Our favorite race was the Drifters. They had several of the stunt car drivers from the movie "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and had a brand new custom blue Charger that we loved.

Devon has always loved the alphabet. At his 2 year birthday he could tell you the letters of the alphabet along with their sounds. We have to give credit to the Leap Frog dvd called "The Letter Factory". Here is his picture of the letter factory with all of the letters, uppercase and lowercase, hanging in the letter factory. As you can see, some of the letters were erased by Tyson.
Devon is now reading and begining to write lots of words. The other day Devon got upset with Jared and I for disciplining him. He wrote a note and put it outside his door. Jared didn't see the note and went into Devon's room. When Jared went in Devon said "Dad, didn't you see the note!?" When Jared went back out the room, on the floor was Devon's note and it said "DONT COME IN THIS ROOM". We couldn't believe he could write that, and where did he get the idea? He's only 4 years old! I think we are going to have a lot of tough times ahead of us. :)

Devon has so many wonderful friends here in LA. We're sure going to miss them when we move to Texas. Starting from the left is Claire, Bailey, Mila, Carter, Carson, Devon, Drew, Ava and Sydney.
